The Platform for Progress had hoped to conduct yet another peaceful protest march on Saturday, July 18, in the town of Brčko in northeastern Bosnia and Herzegovina. However, circumstances beyond its control forced some quick actions and within 24 hours a virtual peaceful protest was planned and carried out in front of the city hall. When Mirsad Hadzikadic and I spoke, he told me this was just one more example in recent months of how the Platform continues to grow in strength. He said citizens and others are now awakening to the fact that the Platform is becoming a key player on the political scene, changing the discourse in the country and that change is not only possible but happening in real-time right before their eyes.
