For Mirsad Hadžikadić and the Platform for Progress, the message of hope and change for Bosnia and Herzegovina has once again been rejected by the electorate. The realistic hope wasn’t that he would win, but that he would at least better his 2018 results in which he received an unprecedented 10 percent of the vote. Such was not the case on October 2, 2022, as voters handily said no to the last four years which saw a democratic movement being built from the ground up. I spoke with Hadzikadić about the results, his takeaways, and the plans moving forward.
